My whole career has been in banking and finance, being a specialist in rural and agricultural business. Having initially trained in research science as a crop development specialist, I diversified into business management and economics and was subsequently employed with Lloyds Bank PLC on their Graduate Training programme, finishing my career with them as a Business Manager. I have spent the last 30 years in Asset Finance, initially as an Area Manager, up to Regional Manager, finally setting up my own Finance Brokerage 19 years ago.
My interests are still country and farming biased and I still have family farming interests, as well as other business concerns, including a camping and tourist centre, holiday and business unit rentals.
